How often should I get my teeth cleaned?
For most people with healthy gums, every six months. If you have a history of gum disease, smoke, or have certain health conditions, Dr. Martinez may recommend cleanings every three to four months. We'll give you a personalized recommendation at your visit.
What does the $149 new-patient price include?
It includes a professional cleaning (for patients with healthy gums), a comprehensive exam by Dr. Martinez, digital X-rays, and an oral cancer screening. If we discover active gum disease, a different type of cleaning may be needed — we'll always explain this and quote it transparently before proceeding.
Do you take my insurance?
We accept most PPO dental plans and file claims for you. Preventive visits like cleanings and exams are typically covered at or near 100% by PPO plans. The $149 price is designed for patients paying without insurance. Call us with your plan details and we'll verify your coverage.
It's been years since I've seen a dentist. Will I be judged?

Are dental X-rays safe?
Yes. We use digital X-rays, which emit up to 90% less radiation than traditional film, and we only take the images that are clinically needed. They let us see between teeth and below the gumline — catching decay and bone issues long before they'd be visible or painful.
